Sharing Stories from the Heart, One Page at a Time

Exploring stories to treasure and share

My stories are inspired by real-life moments growing up to being a teacher and a mother of four, capturing the joys, challenges, and everyday adventures of family and learning. Through my writing, I hope to bring to life the heartfelt experiences that shape both classrooms and homes.

About Me.

I’m a Hmong American, the daughter of refugee parents, and one of nine siblings. Growing up, we didn’t have many books at home, but the public library became my sanctuary—a place to explore far-off lands, live countless adventures, and imagine worlds beyond my own.

From a young age, I loved learning and school, embracing my parents’ mantra that education is everything. This passion led me to a career teaching elementary students for over 20 years.

I’ve always enjoy reading to children, yet I longed for books that reflected my own life and culture. Now, as a writer, I hope to create stories that honor my heritage and let readers—especially those who see themselves in my characters—dream bigger, believe in themselves, and feel the power of being truly seen.
